At Wild Mums, family, community, and traditions are at the heart of everything we do. As a family-run business in Batavia, Illinois, we cherish the communities along the Fox River and the sharing of traditions both big and small. When we moved to a 1930’s farmhouse full of old bones and character, we had our work cut out for us updating and remodeling little by little. Without space to decorate inside, a favorite family activity quickly became refreshing our front porch at the start of each season to celebrate in the easiest space we could quickly make our own. As our family grew, and we made friends with more neighbors, our porch became the meeting spot for play time after school or work and we embraced the opportunity to spend more time outside- together!

To us, a porch is more than a place for amazon packages and welcome mats- our porch is a true gathering spot where little friends still ring the doorbell to play across yards, parents sit on the steps to watch, and neighbors stop to chat while walking past with their pups. Our girls love to help curate the perfect mix of comfort, cuteness, and chaos for our porch at the start of each season- choosing funky plants or special decorations to welcome visitors to our home with their own unique little personality and style.

As a mom, making magic for my two little pumpkins is my favorite thing to do. I started Wild Mums to bring the focus back to the little wonders of life and the happiness that the littlest touches can bring to our community.
